FIRST BLOG - My journey to start the Lizard Beauty cosmetics brand…

Starting my own beauty brand, Lizard Beauty, has been both a challenging and rewarding experience. As a transwoman, I wanted to create a brand that celebrates diversity and inclusivity, and that's why I decided to focus on vegan and cruelty-free cosmetics for all genders.

The journey of setting up a beauty brand is not an easy one, and it's taken a lot of hard work, determination and a lot of sleepless nights. The first step was researching and developing a clear concept for the brand. I wanted to create a range of products that were not only vegan and cruelty-free, but also high-quality, affordable and accessible to everyone.

One of the biggest challenges I faced was finding reliable suppliers who shared my values. I wanted to ensure that all of the ingredients used in my products were ethically sourced and that the manufacturing process was as sustainable as possible. This took a lot of time and effort, but it was worth it to ensure that my brand was in line with my values.

Another challenge I faced was building a team. I knew that I couldn't do everything on my own, so I had to find people who shared my vision for the brand and who were as passionate about it as I was. This wasn't easy, and it took a lot of time and effort, but I was able to find the perfect team to help me bring my vision to life.

Despite these challenges, I am excited to have successfully launched Lizard Beauty, and I am proud to be able to provide vegan and cruelty-free cosmetics globally for all genders. I hope that my brand will inspire others to think about the impact of their purchasing decisions on the environment and animals, and to make more conscious choices.
